staying at the lovely La Locanda, a converted farmhouse inn I fell in love with at first sight
learning to make pizza and pasta at La Locanda
practicing all-levels yoga in La Locanda’s beautiful yoga room with views to the countryside outside
documenting the most beautiful ceramics workshop in Deruta, with a private tour by the kind and lovely maestro-owner
joining in a vibrant festival of ancient rituals in the lakeside town of Marta
learning, shooting and eating delicious local foods prepared by an aristocratic couple in their elegant villa
spending an afternoon with shepherds at their mountain farm, and helping an Italian mama prepare lamb and local vegetables and salads the traditional way
bathing in the natural mineral pools at an upscale hotel nearby
tasting some of Orvieto's best wines at a gorgeous palazzo with stunning views
